NEURONpublishes advertisements forpositions available and for announcements of meetings, symposia, and courses. The 1995 rates are $175 for a quarter page, $305 for a half page, and $575 for a full page. We will accept either camera-ready material by mail, or copy to be typeset by mail o; fax. If you choose to have your ad typeset by NEURON, the size of the ad will be determined by the number of words in the copy; quarter page ads contain up to 130 words, half page ads contain 131-240 words, and full page ads contain241-500words. All camera-ready materials must be received in one ofthe specified size dimensions. A quarter page ad must be 3" by 4½", a half page ad must be 6½" by 4½", or 3" by 9½" (vertical), and a full page ad must be 6½" by 9¼". Always include a billing address, a purchase order number, and a name, address, and telephone number of a contact person with your ad materials. All overseas clients must send prepayment with their advertising materials. Positions are available to study the role of the postsynaptic cytoskeleton and dystrophin-associated proteins in the clustering of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. Biochemical, molecular and cell biological approaches and gene targeting technology are being applied in a collaborative effort between our laboratories. NEUROSCIENCE The Neuroscience Department seeks a BS/MS level Research Associate to work on neurodegenerative disease models of the CNS. Experience with neurochemistry, behavioral pharmacology, and histochemistry is required. Experience with molecular biology and computers is preferred.
